About

We build software, not decks.

Arixa designs and builds the systems businesses run on, and we are the ones who write them.

Arixa started in 2024. Since then we have built the web platform and native app, AI tutor included, for an education business in Australia, a recruitment platform that runs hiring from first application to onboarding, a clinic website built to get people booked, a prestige car showroom that stocks itself from AutoTrader, and a fair number of smaller systems that quietly removed somebody's worst recurring job.

The through line is that almost none of it existed as a product you could buy. Our clients came to us after the off-the-shelf options had been tried and had either not fitted or started charging for the privilege of not fitting.

We work with businesses wherever they are. Some of our longest running work is eleven thousand miles from the desk it was written at, which is fine, because the useful parts of this job happen in writing and in the code.

How we think

Four things we actually believe.

Build or rent, and be honest about which
Plenty of problems are solved well by a product that costs forty pounds a month. We will say so. The build is worth it when the thing is specific to how you work, when you are paying indefinitely for something that nearly fits, or when the tool has started dictating your process instead of serving it.
You own what we make
Your code, your repository, your accounts, your database. Nothing we build locks you into us. If you want to take it in house or hand it to someone else in two years, that is a normal Tuesday rather than a negotiation.
Ship, then improve
A booking system went from first call to live in forty eight hours. Not everything can move at that speed and not everything should, but a quarter spent on discovery before a line of code exists usually means the discovery was the product.
Boring where boring is correct
The interesting part of a build should be the problem, not the stack. We pick tools that will still be maintained in three years and write code the next developer can read, whether that is us or someone you hire.

Where we have worked

Sectors.

  • Automotive
  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Media and talent
  • Recruitment

We are not sector specialists and do not pretend to be. The common factor is a business that had outgrown what it could buy.

Working with us

Fixed scope. Fixed price. In writing, before anything starts.

No open-ended day rates, no scope that quietly grows. If the work changes, we price the change and you decide.
